Requirements for Teachers
-
Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized and accredited University is required
-
Must be in possession of a teaching diploma
-
Must have at least 3 - 5 years experience at the CAPE level
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office - specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
-
Must have excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
-
The ability to work well in a team environment as well as lead the team
-
Must be organized
-
Committed to excellence
-
Highly professional and confidential attitude
-
Perform any other related duties as required by the Management and Board of F.A.V.E.

Preference for a Dutch citizen or legal resident of St. Maarten

Quickschools Coordinator / Webmaster
- Prepares class substitute and exam schedules. Makes recommendations on curriculum needs.
Requirements for Quickschools Technician and Webmaster
-
A Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Information Technology or related field
-
Must be able to do scheduling and enter schedule in the system
-
Track student data, grades, update Management
-
Disseminate report cards
-
Create report trackers and track information among other duties and responsibilities as needed by the school
-
Administrative writing skills
-
Professionalism, confidentiality, and organization
-
Reporting skills
-
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
-
Must have experience in both roles

Maintenance Person
​
Key responsibilities for Maintenance Person
-
Perform routine maintenance tasks including painting, plumbing, electrical and other repairs.
-
Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of school grounds and buildings.
-
Conduct regular inspections to identify and address safety hazards.
-
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and administration.
-
Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
-
Reports to the Facilities Coordinator

Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent.
-
Proven experience in general maintenance or a related field.
-
Strong knowledge of building systems, including electrical, and plumbing.
-
Ability to troubleshoot and repair various mechanical and electrical issues.
-
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-
Strong communication skills.
